I know I have been awful about updating but I always just forget about the blog and I've been doing scrapbooks for my sister which takes up all my spare time cuz I am not that great at it. But We have been doing really good. We just celebrated Ray's second birthday. I cannot believe she is that old already it makes me sad to see how fast she has grown up. We had a bunch of family and friends come to our house to celebrate with her and she loved all of the attention.

But we have been doing really good just enjoying life's blessings and waiting for our little girl to join our family. We have nine weeks left and cannot wait for her to be here. The only thing we are lacking is a name so if anyone has any suggestions we would greatly appreciate them because we are drawing a complete blank at any baby girl names.

This is how Ray is the majority of the time. She has plenty of dolls that she drags around the house mothering. She loves to be the boss to everyone but I'm sure she'll be a good big sister.

So this is our new house. We have three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, a loft, kitchen, dining room, and a living room. And in the basement, that's not finished, we have another bedroom, bathroom, and living room with tons of storage too.

Super Busy Summer!

We've had a super busy summer this year. We started out by moving to Saratoga Springs where we bought our first house and we love it! I'll post pictures of it later it's really messy right now. But after that we went to Arizona for the Nikolaus family reunion and had a blast. Ray became Papa Nik's tag along. She loved following him around and just being near him.
Papa Nik even made us breakfast one morning it was so delicious!

Ray's favorite place to sit was on the fireplace and she pushed everyone off it when they sat on it.

We stayed in the "Cowboy room"

Ray eating her popsicle

They had a huge slip and slide that we all slide down and Papa Bill brought his slide for the kids to play on, Ray didn't like any of it but loved being in her swimming suit.

All of the cousins and their spouses

The great grand kids

And Ray with Papa Nik

After that week we had the Parker family reunion at Cherry-hills and I was determined to get Ray to like the water by the end. And she actually did it just took the majority of the day to do it and now she loves the water.

Eating chocolate ice cream and loving it!

And the weekend after the Parker party we went to family day at the mine where Britto works.

We had so much fun and it was so nice to finally see everything that Britto works on and to realize just how big they are!

Here is Ray dancing and yelling at the tv. She loves to dance especially to the Taylor Swift song " You belong with me."

We've had such a fun summer and loved all the time we have spent with the family.

Bowling!

For Britto's last day off we went bowling with Lacey, Brack, and Zoey. We all had so much fun! I don't know why but we always seem to have a really good time bowling. None of us are any good we just love to go and have fun!

Ray's Haircut!

Ray finally got her first hair cut. At first she was really good and sat still but after awhile she wanted to be held so I held her for most of the hair cut but we got it done and it looks so much better now.

Easter!

This year for Easter we were at my family's house. So after church we went outside to find our baskets. Chauntel found hers first because it was a little obvious.

Then Ray found her's. This was her first Easter and she was so excited! Instead of loading her up on candy we got her a bunch of books that she loves to read to herself. She grabs them out of her corner of toys and just starts jabbering away. It's pretty funny especially when she tries to show us she gets so excited.

Britto and Homer were the last ones to find their baskets. And when Homer found his basket he just had to put on his gift. They are suppose to go under your swim suit but it's Homer so he of course put them over his shorts and paraded around the yard like that.

After we went in and ate a delicious meal thanks to my mom and Ray played with Grandpa. She thought it was hilarious when he put the egg on his eye like this. She definitely loves her grandpa!
