Happy Birthday Dad!

This last Saturday was my dads birthday so we all went to Iggy's for lunch. Dad wanted to go to Tepanyaki but they didn't open until three so he settled for Iggy's instead. Mom put a lot of thought into dads birthday. Since my grandma passed away in August she has been trying to think of something to do and she finally did. We all thought it would be funny to do the MasterCard commercial. We gave him a brown paper bag (he thought there was suppose to be something in it!) then we gave him a hankie which was my grandmas. He was kinda confused but we all thought it was funny and mom was hoping he would tear up, but nothing.

Then came his present. Mom took a bunch of my grandma's old clothes and made a blanket out of it. It was pretty wild but I think he liked it. (good job mom it looked awesome!)

And of course you can't forget the grand kids! Ray was so tired that we almost had her asleep in the highchair and Zoey was just Zoey. She was a great helper to grandpa with helping him open his presents. I think he likes his granddaughters just a little bit!

Love you dad! You're the best!

Weekend in Smithfield!

This last weekend Britto had some time off so we headed up to Smithfield to spend time with my family and to get the rest of Ray's flu shot. She actually did pretty well with the shot this time which was suprising and the whole time we were there she slept through the night without waking up once. It was exciting! Let's just hope she will keep that up.

My mom found Ray this cute Christmas shirt that said "What Santa doesn't bring me.. Grandma will." It is so true my mom definitly loves to spoil Ray in anyway that she can.

She also made Ray this adorable hat. My mom also made her a pink one so she would have one to match her gloves. At first she was just wearing the hat but then Britto took her for a ride on the Razr so she was all bundled up. It was a good thing she had the hat because it gets pretty cold on the Razr but she loved it. Thanks mom! Love ya!

Mum mums

I've been trying to find new foods that Ray will like and actually eat a lot of. She eats pretty much everything but she just doesn't eat enough and we are suppose to be fattening her up, doctors orders. So I remembered my friend, Aimee, mentioning these mum mums that her daughter ate and I finally found them at Walmart. She totally loves to eat them she makes a mess but eats them right up. Hopefully this will get her ready for more finger foods.

These are pictures of how Ray sits in her bumbo. She loves to sit with one leg pulled up just like me and my mom. We never sit in a chair with our feet on the floor, and it obviously hasn't skipped this generation. What can I say she is so much like her mother!

Ray's new Jumper!!

Ray has been growing like a weed lately and she kinda grew out of her swing. She has always sat like this in her swing but she is way to big to do that with out falling out of it. So I went online and found this way cute jumper that was going to be a Christmas present but we set it up already so that I could actually get something done. She loves to jump up and down with the music from the little piano that is on it. The seat turns around and she goes in circles non-stop finding new things to play with. I am so glad that she love it.

When she gets done jumping she loves to pull her legs up, it's like she hates touching the ground if she doesn't have to what a girl!

McKinney!

This last weekend my brother in law, McKinney, went through the temple to take out his endowments. He had the same look on his face that I did when I went through, but I'm sure he will get used to it. We are all so excited for him to leave on his mission but he will be missed greatly, but he will be an awesome missionary. We love you Kinney!

After Party

Yeah! I finally got Britto to play the wii without falling asleep!! We stayed up late last night playing with my brother and sister-in-law. It was so much fun especially watching the boys play. They got so into it when they had to run. It was hilarious, especially how serious they would get about it!

Brackus concentrating on the game, he is famous for pulling faces when he concentrates especially sticking out his tongue.
I have totally enjoyed having my husband around and awake, what a plus. He actually loves playing the wii and really gets in to it now because he's not so sleepy. I love it! And having my brother and sister-in-law so close has been so much fun! We actually have someone to hang out with!

Happy Halloween

This Halloween was Ray's first. She was dressed up as a ballerina thanks to my mom. She made Ray's tutu and then found her pj's that had the ballerina slippers on the feet. She was actually really happy, I think she just liked all of the attention people gave her when we walked around with my niece Zoey. Zoey was also dressed up like a ballerina. When she walked down the street it reminded me of Dakota Fanning(sp?) on Uptown Girls.

Zoey left the house with two bags so we said the other bag was for Ray and at each house she would get two treats, she totally loved it!

Ray with Grandpa Hunter, I think he has grown a little attached to Ray after we stayed with him for the last couple of days, and Ray definitely loves Grandpa. She always smiles at him and loves it when he talks to her!
